Documents between Israel and Germany

We prepare Israeli documents for authorities in Germany, and documents from Germany for use in Israel: translation, notarization and the required authentication.

Which authentication applies

Apostille

Germany is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so an Israeli public document normally needs an apostille to be used there. No embassy legalization is required.

Requirements can change and some authorities ask for more. We confirm the current rules for your specific document before starting.

Documents from Germany for use in Israel

Foreign documents must usually be authenticated in the country that issued them, then translated into Hebrew for Israeli authorities, often as a notarized translation. Through our international offices we can help with both sides.
